STEP 01: CHOOSING THE REFERENCE PHOTO
One of the most important steps in the portrait digital painting process is finding a good reference photo. A good photo(s) to work from is very important, especially if I have never met you before. I need to understand your facial features and character. That's why I ask you to send me photos in the first e-mail.
Notice: Good reference photo means a high-res portrait photo (It will be much preferable if you send 2 or 3 pics with various poses & angles) with a good lighting which highlights your facial features well.
STEP 02: CHOOSING TECHNIQUE
I can paint digital caricature portraits in many techniques, such as realistic, oil brush strokes or black/white technique. In my Prices page I give examples of prices depending on certain pre-chosen technique to give you an idea of how much a painting of that technique would cost.
STEP 03: PAYMENT
When we establish the final price I will begin after I receive payment in full in my bank account or by a Western Union transfer (My payment is not included the transfer tax)
STEP 04: SKETCHING & PAINTING PROCESS
Once I receive the full payment in my account, I will start immediately sketching and painting your portrait. It can take from 5 to 7 working days to finish depending on the technique which you have chosen. I usually send out a couple of Work In Progress pictures to you by E-mail, so that you can see how the portrait is coming along.
STEP 05: DELIVERY
I will upload the finished commission to e-mail upon completion and a high-resolution version will be sent privately to the commissioner.
